Data Science
In today's data-driven world, I'm on a quest to unearth patterns and glen insights from a diverse range of subjects, from history to robotics competitions.

In my first data science project, I delved into a case study by Harvard professor Graham Allision, collaborating with my history/enrichment teacher to translate historical events into tangible data. The process was a thrilling journey that culminated in my first published data science paper and a poster presentation at an international conference.
I presented my poster, "Time to War in the Thucydides Trap", at the 2022 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Washington, DC.
I presented "Team Contributions to the Alliance in FRC Regional Competitions" at the 2023 Joint Statistical Meetings in Toronto, Canada. I gave both oral and e-poster presentations.
My subsequent project was all about using data to give my FRC Team 341 an edge in robotics competitions. My oral and e-poster presentations of this project earned an honorable mention at the Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) executive meeting, Section on Statistics and Data Science Education, American Statistical Association (ASA). Later I published a paper on the project results, further exemplified my dedication to leveraging data for practical solutions.
I also had a memorable summer in 2023 at Data Science Academy, Wharton Global Youth Program at University of Pennsylvania, with the highlight of our final project of predicting stock movements using social media data.
Projects
July - August 2023
Completed a project at Data Science Academy, Wharton Global Youth Program at University of Pennsylvania: use social media post data to predict individual stock value changes.

Analyzed data from the 2022 FIRST® season to understand the quantitative strategy, help my FRC Team 341 to automate our alliance selection process in robotics competitions.
Gave oral and e-poster presentations at the 2023 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM).
Published a paper, “Team Contributions to the Alliance in FIRST® Robotics Competitions”.
December 2021 - August 2022
Collaborated with my high school teacher in World History, Mr. Christopher McDaniels, on a data science project inspired by Harvard professor Graham Allison’s Thucydides Trap concept.
Showcased a poster at the 2022 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM).
Published a paper as the first author, "Time to War in the Thucydides Trap".
