This is a mechanum wheel I printed for my robotics team. Its purpose is when rotated, anything that comes in contact with it will be pushed to a specific side. This is especially useful to my robotics team because our robot must intake balls from the ground and having a wider intake means that scoring becomes easier. The reason I printed this is because the robot's mechanum wheels kept breaking and my team needed extras. Since 3d printing is slow, they had to get everyone on the robotics team with a 3d printer to try an get as many wheels as possible. The reason I was unable to give this one to my team was because my printer's tolerances are not right, and the rollers are not able to spin. In the near future, I plan to calibrate my printer so I will be able to print interconnected pieces.
