Drivebase

Designed clamshell sheet metal driverails, significantly improving durability to past years while reducing drivebase weight by 9.04%. This drivebase was designed with flexibility in mind, allowing other subsystems to change mounting points as their designs changed with minimal footprint issues.

Game Piece Intake

Integrated three part intake system: under bumper uptake, over bumper roller, and drive system belts which all worked together to center the game piece within the robot. This multi part system was able to package extremely compactly by utilizing unorthodox mounting points such as those found on swerve drive modules and integrating bearing mounts into the drivebase, minimizing the footprint of the system. Further, this intake system tied together the driving of its subsystems to minimize failure points and motor usage.
